Share these step-by-step instructions with your students, so they are clear on how to join your live-stream.

BROADCAST LIVE-STREAMS

If you are broadcasting, share these instructions with your students:

If you are joining my live-stream from a desktop or laptop please use CHROME, FIREFOX, or SAFARI browsers.

If you are using an iPad or iPhone, you must use SAFARI version 12.1 or newer.

  1. Open your browser and log in to your Marvelous site.

  2. Click on your "Events" tab in the top right corner where you will see all of your upcoming events listed.

  3. At the designated start time, click the "Join Session" button. The button will remain grey until I start the live-stream.

GROUP COLLABORATIVE LIVE-STREAMS

If you've created group collaborative live-streaming (which uses Zoom), share these instructions with your students:

To join my live-stream, please use CHROME, FIREFOX, or SAFARI browsers.

  1. Open your browser and log in to your Marvelous site.

  2. Click on your "Events" tab in the top right corner where you will see all of your upcoming events listed.

  3. At the designated start time, click the "Join Session" button. The button will remain grey until I start the live-stream.

  4. If you have never used Zoom before, it will ask you to download Zoom to your device.

  5. Once Zoom is installed, the Zoom window will open and you'll be able to participate in the live-stream.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the student doesn't have a "Join Session" button:

  • make sure they have purchased the product that you are live-streaming from

  • have them try refreshing the page

  • have them scroll down and look through all the events

  • have them check their internet speed (slow internet will not allow a stable live-stream)

  • have them close down any competing applications on their computer

  • make sure others are not consuming large amounts of bandwidth on their network like video streaming, gaming, or downloading large files

  • have them try restarting the computer
